This page explains what data Money Scanner collects on this website and in the mobile apps, and what it is used for.

This website

The site is a set of static pages. It does not ask for an account, does not collect personal information, and does not set advertising cookies. Standard web server logs record requests, including IP address and user agent, for security and traffic measurement.

The mobile app

When you scan a banknote, the photograph is sent to our processing service to produce an identification and value estimate. Photographs are used for that purpose only and are not sold or shared with advertisers. Scan history is stored on your device.

Subscriptions are handled entirely by the App Store and Google Play. We never receive or store payment card details.

Analytics

We use aggregate analytics to understand which pages and features are used. This data is not tied to an identity and is not used to build a profile of you.

Children

The app and this website are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
