The values published on this site and produced by the Money Scanner app are estimates generated from published market data and automated analysis. They are not appraisals, not offers to buy or sell, and not financial advice. Paper money prices move with demand and depend heavily on grade, centering, and authentication, none of which can be determined with certainty from a photograph.

Before buying or selling anything of significant value, get an opinion from a currency dealer or a third-party grading service.

Accuracy

We work to keep the information here correct and current, but we make no warranty that it is complete or error free. Use it as a starting point for your own research.

Subscriptions

App subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Payment is charged to that account on confirmation of purchase.

Acceptable use

Do not use the app or this site to authenticate currency for the purpose of passing counterfeit notes, or for any other unlawful purpose. Knowingly passing counterfeit currency is a criminal offense in most jurisdictions.
